Chief Operations Officer/ Development Director
TransitMatters is dedicated to improving transit in and around Boston by offering new perspectives, uniting transit advocates, and informing the public. We utilize a high level of critical analysis to advocate for plans and policies that promote convenient, effective, and equitable transportation for everyone.
The Chief Operations Officer / Development Director (COO / DD) of TransitMatters will, along with the Board, brainstorm, implement and activate a two-year development and impact strategic plan. They will share responsibility for the day-to-day operations of TransitMatters and lead activities in 5 main areas: fundraising, project management, public representation, membership, and organizational collaboration. They will cultivate a two-way relationship with an active TransitMatters Board: presenting to the Board regularly, with the ability to also delegate, collaborate, and keep Board Members accountable to commitments and milestones.
