Meta Post: Moving from WordPress to SquareSpace
Hello, folks. After a period of down time, I've migrated the site from my original host at WordPress to Squarespace in an attempt to make it easier to write posts and less time consuming to add meaningful multimedia content without fussing over how it'll all look.
Comments
As part of the move, the comments system has been moved to Disqus, which is increasingly becoming the comment system of choice across the web. It lets you track comments and discussions across different sites where Disqus is used for comments.
You can set up a Disqus account with your Facebook, Twitter, or Google account or otherwise set up a Disqus account with your email address.
All comments from the WordPress blog are being migrated into Disqus. If you've commented before and you sign up for a Disqus account, you can claim your older comments if you commented using the same email address as the one you set up with your Disqus account.
Subscribing
You'll also need to re-subscribe by updating your RSS reader(s) with the new RSS feed available in the side bar.
If you subscribed by email on the old blog, your email has been imported into the new distribution list for email updates to the blog. A form will be added soon to subscribe via email.
Finally, if you subscribed by following the blog through your WordPress account, sadly you'll need to follow the blog either through RSS or email since there is no integration with WordPress at Squarespace.
As always, thanks for following. Feel free to post any comments or questions below.
