Virtual Beer + Transit: 14 May 2020 - How Buses Can Lead The Recovery with Julia Wallerce
Beer & Transit: How Buses Can Lead The Recovery with Julia Wallerce of ITDP
Thursday, May 14th, 6:00 PM EST on Zoom
TransitMatters is back at it again. Julia Wallerce of the Institute for Transportation & Development Policy (ITDP). ITDP is the foremost organization working on bus rapid transit. Julia led the "Year of the Bus" in 2018-2019 which brought bus lane and bus priority pilots in Boston, Everett, Watertown, Arlington, and Cambridge. Julia will share with us how Boston can continue to make the bus experience in and around Boston better AND give us some international insight into how Asia's BRT networks are weathering COVID-19. We'll also talk about how we can move forward in our region after the pandemic. Sign-up here and make sure you reserve your spot!
